Moosh pot

Did you ever play that game as a child where you would be in a circle of kids and some how you ended up in the center and the kids all said "moosh pot moosh pot Allie's in the moosh pot" Well - some strange way this makes me think of that.

Savannah - you are sooooo in the moosh pot.

It's not our fault you are so cute and mooshy.

Aunty and I just love ya.

Cuddlers4ever

Some families play board games.

While others love to bike ride.

We at Casa LeBaron love to cuddle.
A lot.

It extends to cousins too.
We just can't help ourselves.
It's a passion.

No bed necessary. Aunties make good cuddle partners too.

Even carseats will do (I SOOOO wanted to pull the car over and cuddle with you right then)
Your own pillow optional. Double layering is kosher.

Stuffed animals make a wonderful addition. Grumpy sleep faces are a bonus.
And on the couch passed out is ok too.

We cuddle as often as we can.
Sunday AMs are spent in our bed, usually all 5 of us, cuddling as long as we can without William screeching at us to get up.

WE LOVE CUDDLING!

Dying...........eggs

This year was a fantastic egg dying year...
We saw some real art coming out of these kids ...
Let's all stop and take a minute to admire the scrimpy cuteness of Violet.......yum.
Check that color!!! KICK BUTT!!! Lucas is so so patient when it comes to...well, all things.
He is willing to wait it out to get killer color like that.
 The happy artists.
Check that out!! I may never buy an egg dying kit again! This year did DIYed the whole thing. Sara brainstormed it. I googled it. Memo ran errands for it. And the kids created it.
Rock on.

Vio-lent

Is it wrong to have a nickname for your niece like "Violent" ???
So sorry if you answered yes.
Violet is so cute, so sweet, just the yummiest thing ever but sometimes....
oh man....sometimes............
She's really violent.
Like the time she finger painted with prescription creams. Or the time she colored all over the wall and door in brown crayon. Or my favorite...the time she colored our wall & rocking horse in blue sharpie. LOL Oi vey.
So when I had an opportunity to capture this fiend in action I had to do it. Here she is "rearranging" our art shelf.
We love you no matter what Violet!!!

A little after-dinner snooze

I've fantasized about doing this exact thing (well almost exact) many a time. I love that she just plopped down next to the table, like it's no big thing. And it isn't at our crazy house. Do you love the sprawled legs & arms? I am LOVING this picture & the girl that's in it.

Graduation

Lucas graduated Kindergarten this year, which is very exciting. He can read & write and draw like a maniac. We are very proud.

Lucas & Nana Jeniffer

Lucas & da boys belting out their songs

Charlotte sings!!! This is her one stage appearance.
The rest of the time she scowled at the audience, as is her performing modus operandi.

At first Lucas was too shy to come on stage by himself so John assisted.

Our boy graduates. That's his teacher Cecilia Ash.

Our niece graduates.

Charlotte graduates.

Happy St. Patty!!!

Charlotte was being a bit stubborn (wow shocker!) about posing for this. Are you diggin my hat??

My cute St. Patty's day princess was running past me and I got her!!! Muuuahahahahaaa!

Lucas and Isabella pose in their tie dye shirts we made (see earlier blog posting)

Here is a pic of my class posing in their tye die shirts we made yesterday. It's a whole lot different making them in buckets than in a washing machine...whole lot different!

Here's our baby girl Violet posing in her cute tie dye onesie she made with us.

Too sexy for my tie dye

The kids and I decided to do a little tie dye in prep for St. Patty's day. Having some old white, stained shirts in mind we set out to JoAnns Fabrics for some green RIT dye. The result??

Here we have the whole Friday Night crew (Sara's kids added) checking out their tie dye progress.

Violet may only be 22 mo. but she is very much part of our group activities. She decided where her rubber bands would go and walked around carrying it saying "MINE!" if she even thought we were coming too close to it. In the picture below she is getting her shirt wet and ready for the dye.

Here she is carrying it to the washing tub full of green dye.

Bathing in the sink

Hello cutie!! Every Friday these days you and I are buddies (along with Isabella, Lucas and Charlotte). I love your Friday night dates so you and I can hang out and finally sneak in some bottle and cuddle time. (Don't tell you mom!!)
